Fifth place in the table after the first half of the season (equal on points with four other teams) cannot and should not disguise the really drastic drop in performance since the outstanding games at the beginning of the season. Yesterday they won against a desolate opponent – despite a poor performance and no flow at all for 40 minutes. Before that, they won against the bottom team in the table with a comparably poor performance, with a lot of luck.

In my opinion, Münster is in a deep crisis in terms of playing, without any indication of how they plan to get out of it. I could post statistical details here to back this up, but that would be pointless. The decline in playing structure and culture is too obvious.

They can do dramatically better! In the first few games they played perhaps the most attractive offensive basketball of all ProA teams. That is long gone now.

Munster will be shot out today with a double-digit score based on last’s performance. There are a good four days left from last game to make fundamental changes in Munster. But I don’t believe that will happen.
